Donna began writing. And in late 2002, she completed the first draft of her manuscript. It was then that she decided to bypass the traditional publishing industry altogether. Through trial, error, and abit of coaching, she learned how to self publish a book. Upon completing the second draft, she founded Abrah-Cove Publishing, and published a fiction, which was her debut novel, From Faythe to Ever-Increasing Faith, in October 2003.
Donna learned very quickly that if she did not vigorously promote her book, she would not sell many copies of it. So, not only did she write and publish her book, she became her own PR person, set up her own book club discussions, speaking engagements, book signings, etc. It all became an overwhelming process, and she realized she needed help fast. “That is when I got the idea to start a company that would promote my book/self and other independent authors, artists and entrepreneurs,” said Donna.
